I always say to my friends “Take life one day at a time, you don’t know how many you have left!” I also say tell them what Carlos Mencia told me “If you aint laughing, you aint livin.” These quotes may be a little comical but they also have very powerful meanings and mean a lot to me. My name is Hunter G and I’m a freshman in high school.
The first quote by myself means a great deal to me because it helps me not get too stressed of the future, just live what’s happening in the moment and not dread a test which is a couple months away. This is one of my main goals in my high school career is to make it the best and not dread the next day all the time. I know from experience and it’s not good…
The second quote by Carlos Mencia doesn’t mean as much but it has still shaped my life to the way it is now, and to what it might be. I really want to try to laugh every day at least once. If you can't enjoy life then you will lag behind not just in school but in friendships as well because you have nothing to look forward to. I always look forward to school because I can always see all my friends who are extremely funny! By the way I’m always really friendly so if you need someone to talk to I’m usually near the stage. If not then I’m buying food! I’m always open to meeting new people and that’s one of my other goals for freshman year is to just make new friend but still keep my old ones I know I can rely on.
Gosh… I really want to go to Stanford… I have a lot of colleges in mind but that’s the one I’m aiming for. My grandpa went there and his grandpa before him, and turned out to have the life of his dreams. That’s one of the main reasons I want to go. I know it’s a little far fetched but I always hope I get the chance to at least look at the campus... I got in to this school, didn’t I? I want to be just like him… that’s pretty much my goals for my high school career… oh and I will get good grades like everyone else!
